Janet Rechtman, jr@rcgroup.net, is founder of Rechtman Consulting Group, a firm that specializes in improving the quality and productivity of internal and external collaborations for non-profit and community based organizations and public-private partnerships.
With a background in advertising and marketing, Janet has more than twenty-five years of experience providing technical assistance, training and facilitation in the areas of strategic planning, organizational development, marketing, and internal communications.
Janet has her BA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, her Masters from York University in Toronto, Ontario, is a certified mediator and is currently a doctoral student in the Ph.D. in Leadership and Change at Antioch University, Yellow Springs, Ohio. Her articles, poetry and fiction have appeared in a wide variety of publications. She teaches a graduate course in non-profit marketing at the Andrew Young School of Georgia State University.
As a volunteer, she is past chair of the boards of directors for Senior Connections and of the YWCA of Greater Atlanta, and a member of the Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club. She is a member of the YWCA Academy of Women Achievers, the Strategic Planning Team for the United Way of Metro Atlanta, boards of the Georgia Gerontology Society, the Foxfire Foundation, Pro-Active DeKalb and Leadership Atlanta. She has conducted workshops at a number of national conferences, including the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, the International Association of Facilitators, the Community Leadership Association, Southeastern Council on Foundations, Georgia Gerontology Society, and the International Leadership Association.

Michele Taylor, taylor@rcgroup.net, is the project coordinator for Rechtman Consulting Group, a firm that specializes in improving the quality and productivity of internal and external collaborations for non-profit organizations and public-private partnerships.
With a background in journalism and publishing, Michele has more than nine years of experience in interviewing, writing, editing and in-depth research in the areas of health and fitness, religion, business and community concerns.
Michele has her BA in magazine journalism from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Her articles have appeared in both local and national publications including Georgia Trend, Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine, Upscale and Arthritis Today. She teaches high school students in academic distress at the PREP program at Atlanta Metropolitan College.
As a community volunteer, she has served as committee chair for DeKalb Habitat for Humanity and awards judge for the Southeastern Association of Facilitators. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha service sorority where she has served as secretary and vice president. Michele has conducted workshops at several national conferences for youth and at local colleges and universities. She is also director of the youth drama department at her church in Marietta, Georgia.
